There is a growing awareness of the need for good quality food. The aim of Spillers Farm Shop is to offer the local community great quality food at a reasonable price. 

We offer excellent quality meat from our own pigs and lambs.  Our pigs are given the best possible care; they are outdoor reared and we grow them slowly so that the meat is of the highest possible quality.  Happy pigs produce tasty pork! We know exactly what goes into our pigs and lambs, so we know exactly what we are eating and selling.

We believe that if we are responsible for taking the life of an animal we should use as much of that animal as possible. So we use everything we can. We cure our own bacon and hams and make our own pate from the pig's liver.  Our sausages are made up of the best parts of the pig, not the bits that are left over. We have turned our lamb's fleeces into the softest sheepskin rugs.  

We try to live in tune with the seasons, so we grow and eat vegetables of that season and our shop is only stocked with seasonal produce.  We don't sell bananas because we don't grow them!
