Spillers Farm Shop is the ideal place to buy your Christmas turkey.  We raise turkeys from about four weeks' old (around September).  Like the rest of our animals our turkeys have access to outdoor space and are able to roam during the day.  A free ranging bird is a tastier bird.  We also grow the turkeys slowly.  We don't force feed or give them food which accelerates their growth.  We let them grow to their natural weight prior to slaughter.  We hang them for a few days to bring out the full flavour of the bird.  Then we pluck and dress them, so you can be sure that we know the quality of our birds. 

Alongside your turkey, why not also take some of our handmade stuffing?  Made from our own pork sausagement, onions and sage from our own garden, it provides a tasty accompaniment. Or try some of our homemade "Pigs in Blankets" - our own sausages wrapped in our bacon - beautiful roasted along with the turkey.  Our speciality Pork and Cranberry sausages add a final festive touch.

Boxing Day is the traditional time to serve a baked ham.  Spillers Farm's Own ham joints (on or off the bone) are guaranteed to be rich, succulent and full of flavour.

To add to the feast we also offer jars of our own luxury homemade mincemeat or cranberry and orange relish.

The shop will be open right up to Christmas Eve, so come in to see what we have to offer or phone us with your meat order.

If you would like to get away from it all over Christmas, or have family visiting but don't have the room, Primrose Cottage could provide the ideal solution.  Enjoy a festive break in the countryside.  Cuddle up nice and cosy in the cottage.  Everything you need for Christmas lunch can be ordered from the shop in advance and brought to your door (with no delivery charges!)
