Situated in some of East Devon’s most spectacular countryside, Spillers Farm is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Nestling in the beautiful Axe Valley - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - Spillers Farm is ideally placed
for those going to River Cottage, which is a five minute drive away. Is is
also ideal for those wishing to explore the East Devon countryside and the coast, being just a few miles from the Regency seaside town of Sidmouth, the charming town of Seaton and the Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis.
A working smallholding, Spillers offers the visitor numerous options for a relaxing break. Stay for one or two nights' B&B in
our comfy bedrooms, or for a week in Primrose Cottage, the spacious, self-contained self-catering holiday cottage. Hook-up in our small intimate CL caravan site, or simply stop off for a real Devonshire cream tea with homemade scones in the pretty and elegant Tea Rooms. During your stay, why not take a walk around our private lake frequented by swans, ducks and other local wildlife?

If you are interested in helping to feed our pigs, ducks, hens or sheep and
finding out what it’s like to raise your own livestock please call us for
more details. Spillers Farm is a
member of the
Devon Association of Smallholders. We sell our
meat, duck’s and hen’s eggs to the public at reasonable prices.

However long your stay you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome all year round from your hosts Keith and Bridget Trayling and their Golden Retriever Merryck. Spillers Farm operates a dog-friendly policy and well-behaved dogs are always welcome.
We are just over three hours from London by car, less than three hours
by train direct from Waterloo to Axminster (3 miles away). We
can collect you from the train station by prior arrangement and arrange
transport to and from River Cottage.
